Hi! Claw will be 2 months old tomorrow and has lived with us for 2 weeks. I'm starting to notice shell growth and am wondering if it looks normal. I've searched and read previous threads but I'm still not sure. First pic is when Claw arrived and 2nd/3rd are tonight. I have yet to see Claw use either of the humid hides in the enclosure. Normally he/she sleeps on their basking rock or under a plant but lately has started to dig down beside it.

After taking the pic to tonight I put him/her in one of the hides and they dug in further..
So maybe just didn't know they were there?
Claws in a tote with a mostly cococoir substrate and live plants. Humidity is high 90's in the morning when I open the enclosure and dips to low 70% on the hot side and mid 80's on the cool.

Hi,

Looks normal to me, I've never kept a baby though mine were already adults when I received them. Check out the care sheet linked below there is good info on the humidity levels etc.

Thanks! I've been following that guide since before I got him. :)

Guess I have "New Tort Parent Syndrome"!

Thank you for replying. :)
