Night temps

So how cold is too cold to be leaving my tort outside at night? how cold can it drop to and be able to leave her outside? and how can i heat her plastic doghouse so she has a warm area to go?

I always try to bring my Turkish greeks, T.g.ibera, in when it's going to go below 60F. They can get as low as 50F, but I don't see the need to let them get that low.
A ceramic heat emitter or infra-red light would heat the plastic doghouse. Just make sure she can't get out if it's going to be very cold at night.

im kinda worried about using something that will put off heat in a plastic dog house.

Than just bring her inside the house for the night. :D

people put heaters/lights in plastic doghouses quite often...especially in dogloos. as long as they are installed safely, it should be fine.

i do bring my tort in at night...mainly for safety...he sleeps in a rubbermaid box and never seems to complain =)
