Hello to all. I have been browsing this sight for a couple of months. Finally decided to become a member. I live in Queen Creek, Arizona. Current owner of a 3 1/2 and 4 1/2 year old sulcatas. I have raised them since they were babies. Looking to get some more species in my collection.

Hi Hondamax: Welcome to the forum. I just replied to your adoption request...read it first before your introduction. So you can just skip over my reply! You will have to find someone in Arizona to adopt from. Sulcatas are ok, but I think you will find the desert tortoise a very special animal. I just love them!

hondamx, welcome to the forum. Yvonne is correct you must adopt one from someone in Arizona. At least you are in a state that can adopt out DTs. Good Luck and keep us posted.

Hello and welcome to TFO!! You are on the opposite side of town from me as I am in surprise.. If you want to adopt a DT check with Phx Herp Soc they handle all of Game and fish DT rescues and adoptions and the last time I was there they had a bunch. You could also check with AZ herp soc they handle adoptions sometimes if people surrender to them, but I can't remember what they had up for adoption. Good Luck!!
