New Tortoise owner first enclosure

Well me and the girlfriend built our first enclosure for our Russian we will be picking up hopefully Friday :)

just a run down of what we used to build ours

54 Gal tub
substrate of 50/50 coconut husk top soil with some repti-bark spread on top
have a ceramic heat lamp with a 60W bulb and a UVB lamp with a 100W bulb

it's a little raised in the left corner for the guy to climb some

any suggestions would be welcomed thanks every one learning alot on here :D

Looks good but those lamp clamps will fail over time and could cause a fire. Plus they're at an angle not giving the full effect. The lights should be hung from above to prevent anything bad happening to the tort or the enclosure. Other than that, looks great!

Ditto. Don't use the clamps for reasons already stated and the lights should point straight down. Some plants would be nice for some added security. Looking good. If it's a baby should be fine if it's an adult, a bigger enclosure would be better. Possibly one outside.
