Hi,

We got this lil dude a few days ago. Im guessing he is tg Iberia or some American mixed ibera as he was bought from a local reptile store. We grow arugula and mustard greens so we gave been feeding him that mixed with mazzuri pellets (tho he only really eats the greens).

I know he should be eating a lot of grass too so I was wondering what would be a good type to grow? I'd prefer it to be constantly harvest able and if it could be used for human consumption that would be even better, tho that last part would just a bonus.

They had him on alfalfa pellets but we have orhird bark and coconut coir. He has plenty of moisture and places to hide as well as a basking area hitting 95-100 surface temp. The dark/moist area is around 70 in temp and 75-80% humidity. He mostly goes in there at night to burrow. I use the left side of the rock as the feeding area ( surface temps 77-83). Now sure if that's okay

Really want to make sure he grows as smooth as possible. Read the care guide like a million times! Lol

Can you take a picture of the bottom plastron please? I think it is a Hermanns tortoise (Eastern). I am not an expert just a guess. Thank you
