I was just wondering how my lil dude is doing. I got him in september and the owner told me that he was around 4 months old then. He's probably around 7 months now but is still pretty small; yet this little guy seems to have a black pit for a stomach and eats like a beast. I noticed that the lines between his scutes seem a little raised and that the edges of his shell seem darker than other pictures i've seen online. I hope he's doing well but he sure acts healthy. As soon as I got him I took him to the vet and the vet said he was fine so i'm just sorta seeing what y'all have to say.

I can't determine if anything is wrong the only thing i know is you should make it so he can't see out of his enclosure. It should not be see through.

Do you cover his enclosure at all? In order to maintain humidity you really need to have a closed chamber. He looks pretty good though. Read the care sheet and make sure you are providing everything it calls for and your tort should grow up just fine
