Hi. I have lost my beautiful Russian tortoise. He is my friend and his name is Franklin.
I lost him at our cabin in Richmond Minnesota. I am trying to find him. Looking in tall grasses and dead leaves and everywhere. I am so very sad

I'm so sorry you're going through this, but there is hope.

Get down on the ground and look at tortoise height...look for disturbed dirt, under leaf piles, around the base of bushes and trees. The best times to look are early morning and evening.

Put food and water out. Tell any neighbors about him, and ask them to keep an eye out.

Call shelters, wildlife rehabs, and vets in the area.

Many torts get lost, and many are found. I'll be praying for yours.

Thank you! I’ve sent prayers to angels too
