Above 70% all of the time.
And that is not possible in an open topped enclosure.
I mentioned that previously.

I have been told to feed her frozen mice is this correct because it is looking like everything else i was advised was wrong.
A tortoise is not a snake. Torts might eat worms or part of a big worm (ugh) but mice are not on their diet. They'd get intestinal impaction on the fur alone. I have 2 cats who cough up fur balls all the time as an example of what fur does internally. I don't know or want to know how snakes deal with fur balls.

You have indeed been misinformed. In addition to the care sheets, there are "feed your tortoise this" all over the forum, discussions, etc. Choose among the most current food sheets & discussions.

Pinky mice don't have fur, lots of people feed them to redfoot, I never have though, too gross!

They are talking about baby mice 1-2 day old, theyre pink and soft. Not great for redfoots because they are high in fat, just not a high quality source of protein. Redfoots btw do eat animals in the wild though and most owners feed them some animal protein to simulate this.

I generally just go with slugs and earthworms.

I stand corrected. I don't want to know why pink mice 1 or 2 days old have no fur or if they come in other colors either.

In the wild, REDFOOT are from time to time scavengers. They'll eat animal carcasses, fallen, rotten fruit, mushrooms, the poop of other animals and many other disgusting things. Not all great food items.
I've actually witnessed members of my group do all of that. Including eating large dead rats and entire birds killed by feral cats. I've seen NO ISSUES with fur, feathers or bones.
Using substitute material such as dog food or freshly boiled meat is our choice. Something less gruesome. Less disturbing. More hygienic.
But in reality, the Redfoot diet is vast. And it includes plenty of items that you're probably not going to want to provide.
Especially when many of those items that we substitute are actually better for them

If your vivarium is water tight..pour a little water into the corners. The substrate will absorb it and slowly give off humidity as it evaporates.
This is tricky until you get the amount just right. You don't want standing water or dripping wet substrate.
Be prepared to treat any fungal plastron issues with a tube of athletes foot cream.
Developing shell fungus might occur while you get this dialed in.
It's avoidable. But not uncommon. It's easy to treat. And its not serious when caught early.
