Hi everyone, I got 4 years old horsefield tortoise and I just make a new outdoor home using a 1m pipe with 30cm by 30cm room on the end, all is underground. He is no interest at all... I put him in couple times, but after a while hi is out, even when is raining or getting dark... Prefer to hide under the flowers. Please any tips how can I make him like it(the new home) , so hi can hibernate during the winter. Thanks!

Hey! We would love pics so we can get an idea of what to add
But what I would add are lots of bushy plants, some bushy grasses for burrowing under, different rock piles, logs, artificial burrows, burrows under the bushes, open grassy area, grassless areas, all these things will make him comfortable. I would also make a little night box thing. I wonder if it gets too cold for hibernation outdoors there though?
