Just found this site yesterday, very excited to be here! My name is Lisa, I have a hatchling sulcata named Dozer, and we live in mid-Missouri. I first got interested in turtles when I brought home 2 yellow-bellied sliders, Bitty Baby and Fat Baby, 2 1/2 years ago. Then I got another yellow-bellied slider named Dora 1 1/2 years ago. I actually stumbled onto Dozer at a pet shop when I was shopping for supplies for the YBS back in July this past year and fell totally in love! Now I'm in so deep my husband is just finishing up a new tortoise table that is like a tortoise mansion! I'll attach a pic of Dozer later today when I have access to my home computer, he's a doll! So there ya have it, I'm looking forward to meeting other tortoise lovers!
