Say hey howdy hey to my new addition. She does not have a name yet, but she'll have one soon. I bought her at a local pet-store, and she seems pretty healthy 'leavings' wise, no diarrhea or anything. She does pee out white stuff, which scared me at first but now that I know its normal we're all good :)

So here she is!
Please excuse the dirt <3

I've only had her over night, so today will be my first full day with her. I'm hoping she'll eat today. I set her food down (a mix of moist pellets I got from the store, they have no wheat and are 100% natural minerals, rose petals, and a dandilion or two. I give her food and she walks away to the hide I have in there for her and points her butt at me. Might just name her Ms.Priss -.- But I can't be too difficult on her I suppose, it is a new place and I'm a new person. So hopefully she'll come around <3

As of right now she is inside with me (my friend bought her male playmate) until we finish their outside enclosure. So until that is done she is living in my EBT's (Ma'am) abode and Ma'am is with her boyfriend at a friends house ;)

Here is more of her cuteness <3

I've done the best research I can on this site and others to make sure I will take good care of her, being as I'm used to Box Turtles and Russians (I feel) are almost dramatically different to care for. But I'm determined! :D I've read up on RT's diets but I didn't see anything on Spinach. I figured since its green and leafy it might be okay, but I don't want to feed it to her in-case it isn't good for her.

Oh! She may or may not have a boo-boo on her right front legs turtlepit? I saw it yesterday as i soaked her. It doesn'e seem to bother her too much, and I'm guessing it could be much worse, but would this owwy be something I put maybe Neosporin on? Or is there something more natural I can use to heal it like honey? (Oh btw, for us humans if you put honey on a scratch or scrap or cut, after you clean it of course, its a better natural-less-likely-to-scar ointment:) )

Tell me what you think. Any ideas? Any info I should know that might not be out there? Inform me my Turtle/Tortoise buds. :)

Very nice tortoise. As far as spinach goes, I mean its okay sometimes but I would'nt make it the staple diet of hers. Im not sure about the cut on her, but if she's walking okay and its not bleeding I wouldnt worry all too much! Goodluck, I just got mine a few days ago too =]
