Hi All, I was really hoping some one could help me. I recently bought a hoursefield tortuous and I have just noticed that one of his eyes is glazed over.

the lamp is regularly on, Iv been feeding him veg, been bathing him 2-3 times aweek. (I was told he can eat veg but not sure wether to just buy him tortuous food)

Can someone please let me know what I’m doing wrong or if there is anything I can change?
Thank you in advance

Hi, and welcome to the Forum!

May we please see pictures of your tortoise (inside his enclosure)?

What kind of light are you using? What is the temperature inside the enclosure? Do you turn the light off at night? what age/size is the tortoise?

Here's a care sheet for you to read:

We need the answers to the questions Yvonne asked. In the mean time the lights should be off at night and the enclosure dark. If your using any kind of coil bulbs stop using them.
