My yellow and red foot tortoises grew up together as babies. Now YF is 12” and RF is larger at 14”. Recently the YF who I’m sure is female follows the male RF everywhere and when she gets close is always bobbing her head back and forth and looks as if she is going to bite him in the face. The RF is very sweet and tries to move his head away. I thought this was a mating issue, but it’s the smaller female instigating it. Anyone with any insight, please respond. Also the yellow food is rejecting all food except fruit. I live in Pittsburgh and right now they r both inside because of the winter. Thank you, Mitch5

One is bullying the other. I would separate asap, before one bites the other, or worse. Search the forum on why not keep pairs together.
