This is just a problem with the language barrier. I'm pretty sure they mean an indentation like what some species of male tortoises have

Ah that makes a lot more sense. I was very concerned for a minute, haha.

The Console Freak. I live in Malta too and have some Kleinmenni, like you have. Please do not breed them to a graeca. In Malta Kleinmennis are not so rare. so wait until an opportunity will arise to buy a female. Meanwhile you can work two separate tortoise tables big enough to cater for each of your Kleinmanni. You will find coco-coir and mercury vapor lamps in reptile pet shops. They are not the easiest species to raise, but our climate being very similar to Libia's will simplify your task. Good luck.

Slow down and back up. Don't think about breeding until you learn enough to keep adults healthy first.Tortoises are about patience.

Getting a pair was not a good idea to start with. The male can make the female's life miserable, and often they need to be separated. As already said, older larger females are more successful breeders. A breeding colony contains more females than males.

Make them a naturalistic habitat with some deep soil substrate and plenty of hides & good light. Tile floor is too hard & cold, and wrong in every way. You can keep them indoors if you must, but not as you have begun. Any hide box needs to be moisture proof.

Too late. At least one of his torts has already died. :(
