May i ask did zulu dig the burrow? How far in does it go?
Mine just started digging...
Does the sandy soil hold up,with the rain in Fl?

The burrow I started myself back when I got him to hopefully keep him from digging elsewhere. So far it has worked. It originally started as just a garbage can on its side half buried to keep him from going deeper. My thought was that if he had a cool place to go, he wouldn't dig on his own.
I have since dug up the garbage can. I made a grave sized hole in the ground and walled it in. I then covered it with landscape timbers, then plywood, then plastic and covered it back over with dirt.
So it is now a safe, cool burrow but he is limited in how far he can go. He loves it during the heat of the day. He goes into his shed at night to sleep.

Very Nice, I like the layout with the no real corner corners, And the fencing, you can see in but the tortoise can't really see out. Nice looking tortoise too.
