Hi my name is Stefanie and I just got a 2 month old baby Sulcata I’ve named Polka because of the polka dots on her shell. I’ve had her for 4 days and so far so good! She is eating and active!! I live in Colorado so there will be a lot of investigating on how best to keep her outdoors once she is old enough and how to keep her happy and warm in the winter! Welcome Stefanie, Polka is a cutie. Great name also!!
Polka looks a little dry. Make sure you soak Polka in warm water not hot. Soak for a 1/2 hr everyday with the water depth to where the top shell and bottom shell meet. Dont let the water cool down.
Be sure to read the care sheets here on sulcata's.
Also if you could send us pics of your enclosure. We can guide you on how to set it up. (and save you money)If you bought Polka at a pet store. They probably didn't set you up correctly.
Also remember no fruit and that includes tomatoes.
