Friday morning 14.5.21 my tortoise Tougie had his head in his shell so bathed him and no movement . After googling I put him in a box with clean bedding , newspaper etc as I thought he maybe hibernating . Before Bathing him again today his head has come out but eyes have sunk does this mean he has died ?. He doesn’t smell is he snoozing ? After googling some say keep him under a heat lamp some say not too but keep him in a warm place ?? I’m so confused i don’t know what to do for the best for him . He has always been small me and my sister got one at the same time hers is bigger than mine and eats a lot more variety than mine does would this have anything to do with how he is ?
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you

It sounds as though your tortoise may have died. If you pull on its leg or its head, does it pull back?
