Get the largest Tote you can find. Xmas tree totes work greatScreenshot_20200403-171746.pngThen get a uvb light and a Radiant heat panellarge.jpeg1289977-center-1.jpegScrew both into the lid of the Tote. Then get a thermostat and plug your heat panel into and set it at the temperature you want. 61J93u5BzEL._AC_SY450_.jpgThen add substrate and tortoise.

I’m pretty sure I posted my other thread in wrong part. I need help on either building a plastic tub enclosure or if anyone can look at this and tell me if it would be worth it for a 6 month old sulcata? I’m willing to buy an enclosure but I’m not going to spend over 1,000.

Any help is appreciated! Thanks.
I just bought this enclosure and it works really well. Heat and humidity is easy to control and you don’t have to worry about rot from moisture etc.

Ok here's a few pics for you. Just imagine this is the lid to the tote. You'll want to attach your radiant heat panel and Uvb fixture to the lid of the Tote. Something like thisIMG_20200404_174016855.jpgYou'll want to cut a small notch in the side of the lid to feed your wires thru. You just have to remove the lid every time you want to access it. Unless your handy and can cutout some kind of access door. Also get a thermostat to plug your radiant heat panel like thisIMG_20200404_174547460.jpgOnce you set the thermostat and add some substrate and a little water it should be pretty easy to keep your temperature and humidity where you want it. I like the radiant heat panels because you don't have to deal with a bulky lamp fixture.IMG_20200404_174312900.jpg
