The NHS meets the first Saturday of most months at 10:00 at Allwine Hall on the campus of the University of Nebraska at Omaha.

This Satuday, "The speaker will be long-time NHS member Terry Gampper. The topic will be "A.M. Nikolsky and the Origins of Salamanders". Nikolsky became the director of herpetology at Moscow University in 1895 and written several books on Russian herpetofauna. He also has an interesting theory on the origins of salamanders."
