Nasal medicine?

I went to the vet and she gave me medicine to give him through his nostrils. Has anyone else been given this?

I learned a few years ago that mixing Baytril 9 parts sterile saline with 1 part Baytril and used to flush the nostrils works way better at getting the tortoise over a R.I. than injecting it or giving it orally. So, yes, I have heard of this.

Please give us more info. Why did you go to the vet? What are the symptoms, etc.

Went to the vet for R.I.

He squeaked every once in awhile and I saw snot and took him in after I noticed that.

My vet gave my tortoise some antibiotic nose drops for an RI ( russian rescue).

Any advice on how to give it to them. I tried tonight for the first time and the vet said I have to cover his eyes and when I did that he shoved his head in and made it almost impossible for me to give him the medicine
