Name the fruit/veg

Hi all

Need some help please.

There is a Lebanon fruit and veg shop near where we live. These are some of stuff they throw away every Friday.

Can anyone name these items please.

Hi,

I could identify only Cassava and Bitter gourd.

Left to right: the big thing is cassava (I think); the second is eggplant; the third, perhaps yellow eggplant (yes, that is a thing!)

Next row is a kind of cucumber (Japanese perhaps), then Chayote squash, then bitter melon/bitter gourd.

That looks more like Mexican grey squash than Chayote, both are good, you can tell once you cut it open. Mexican grey has seeds like zucchini, Chayote has a large single seed, more pit like, but it is soft, you can slice right through it.

It’s a Mexican grey. Plenty of seeds like a zucchini
