Hi everyone, this is my first post and I'd like to get to it as quick as possible. So today I got a Sonoran Desert Tortoise from a friend, at my friends house he looked pretty healthy but on the car ride back to my house he started making clicking and croaking noises. I thought he was just stridulating but about 20 minutes of looking around my backyard I noticed he was sneezing and had watery eyes. But now it is way worse he has bubbles coming out of his mouth and has snot by his nostrils. I googled some stuff about it and found out he has Mycolplasma. He literally has every single symptom, the thing that is even more gut wrenching is that he came into contact with my other Sonoran Desert Tortoise, and that's when I found out that this thing isn't just a disease, it's a virus that spreads upon contact. So now I am worried about my new tortoise and my other one. Is there any way this Mycoplasma thing can be cured? If anyone has info please let me know.
