I got about a 5 year old Sulcata tortoise and it is only about 8 inches long and only a couple pounds. I have been feeding her and she has snapped out of a sort of hibernation mode within the last couple weeks and gotten a bit bigger, but I’m wondering if she will ever get to the size she should be. I’ve tried to do research, but I need help on how much I should feed her and how often, maybe even what I should feed her to help her get as healthy as possible. Thank you.

Keep in mind that sulcatas do not hibernate.

generally, they should always have food available to graze on, every day.

your tortoise is not a hatchling, but these threads way be useful regardless :)
