This tortoise is a young hatching. How old did the seller tell you it was? Its been kept too dry and damage has already been done to the carapace. Unfortunately, most breeders don't start their babies correctly, and most of the care advice you find is wrong. I hate to be a bummer, but you need to know this so that you can break this cycle of bad info and unhealthy tortoises, and give your baby the best possible chance to thrive.

Thanks Tom, unfortunately I got it from a exotic pet show, breeder had no clue because he had traded some of his exotic snakes for three sulcatas the guy had left so I messaged the guy he got it from and he said he had no clue either?? he said Quote ""im sorry i have no idea on age unfortunately there's so much trading going on at exotic shows from breeder to breeder" so I'm guessing he traded to get them from someone else I se before I purchased from the other gentleman.. Thats the main reason I took it because of the things i just learned being traded back and forth now i with i had bought all three.
