Welcome to the Forum. Your Russian Tortoise is adorable.

I noticed that you have hay in the enclosure as a substrate. Hay is very drying, plus you cannot keep it moist because it will mold You can use coconut coir or fine grade orchid bark as your substrate, which you can keep moist. Check it out on the Forum.

No I’m not using hay as a substrate, those photos from the first day i got it, it came in that box like a gift :)
