My Red Footed tortoise has watery eyes

Hi this is our baby Penelope (red footed tortoise) she have been having very watery eyes, and were wondering if this is something that anyone else has encountered? Or if it's something we should be worrying about, the eyes aren't sticking they're just very watery. Thanks for the help!

Looks like there is some kind of thick substance on her eye, or is that skin?

Watery eyes usually equals being a little dehydrated

Tortoise species from heavily forested areas usually have pretty wet eyes. I doubt you have anything to worry about. Just soak daily for at least 15 minutes and keep him in a warm, humid environment.
