Do people have similar experience with boxies? I sure don't. They seem so placid and content. Of course mine are yet young.

That's so cute! Charlie can't escape but he does more than his share of ramming things, getting wrapped up in things, getting stuck under things, and dragging things all over the yard. A couple days ago, there was a loud racket and it turned out Charlie had knocked over a shovel and the handle was wedged underneath him. He was dragging it all over and it was gathering things along the way.

Well there is a whole essay on what NOT to do for housing and caring for a tortoise.

I realize it is supposed to be cute and funny, but there is nothing funny about risking your tortoises life with incorrect housing and care practices.

That author should not have a tortoise.

To be fair, the author no longer has the tortoise
