This is my experiment of closed chamber size 47x24x32in..thanks Mr Tom for your valuable link and tips.
Put him 7pm-7am then grazing time whole day.

he's 5 inch

The warm side could reach around 90F and the cold side reach 80F. The humidity stable at 83-88%.

any advice for me my tortofriends?

I have seen my small aldabra active and feeding with a temp reading of 75F so I think you could let the cooler side down to at least the mid 70's.
