My 2 1/2 yrs old french bulldog might have a brain tumor, he is showing all symptoms of it. The vet will check him out tomorrow. I have been crying so much, I'm so worried. The wait just to know is very hard to handle, has anyone here gone threw something like this.

I lost two cats to cancer in the past two years. One was this past February. And my dog is 13 years old and it's showing. I know how hard it is.

I'm so sorry for your lost lisa ... hugs! I did loose my 12 yrs old chihuahua to a heart murmur last yr so I am dreading this, and my english bulldog is already 10 yrs old with a little dementia. All my animals are like my very spoiled children. They even have their own rooms with a bed. I even have a room just for my baby leos. I don't have any kids here so they are my children.

So sorry for this scare. I sure hope it all turns out to be just aging. Please let us know what you find out. I have not gone through that with one of my dogs, but I have gone through so many losses of my four legged family members and it never gets easier. Good luck.

Just got back from the vet and we are back to the beginning again. She still can't give me an exact answer. She said she is thinking it's more a heart problem, but isn't sure yet. She wants me to record it on my phone when Charlie gets his seizures again and give him a physical exam so she can have a better observation. And she hasn't completely cross out brain tumor. All we know now is that it might be heart or brain, still need more testing done. But at least I feel a little better knowing it might be the heart, at least that can be treated with medications.

Sorry to hear that. Going through it with my 11-yr-old Aussie. We've had the worst news possible after three weeks of waiting for test results. It's frustrating.

So while still no firm answers, atleast you getting into finding the answer(s) and I hope it ends up being something simple and fixable. *hugs*

No real answer, only guesses at the moment. She says the next time to record everything so she can observe a little more, and she will either refer me to a specialist for the heart or brain. So in the mean time I feel kinda helpless.

Hopefully it will not be anything big. Good luck. Keep us post and give her extra hugs and treats.

Wow, I'm glad to hear that he is all better now. It does make me feel better to hear positive things like that.

Frenchies are not distant from the full bully.....I would suggest you not freak out....this is very common in the bully breeds....make the dog comfortable, reduce environmental stress while the moment comes and goes....vet visits and constant nervousness only adds to the accelerant....I would avoid breeding for this dog....it is a passed on issue...
