Very pretty tortoises, Elizabeth. Where did you get them? Just curious if they originated from one of my friends. I used to live in CT and bred lots of Star Tortoises. NERD used to buy some of my babies from me.

Sorry for the late reply! Thank you The middle one and left one I obtained from Chris Leone at Garden State Tortoise. The one on the right, I obtained from Ben Siegal Reptiles. They are all unrelated, and hopefully will turn out to be a trio.

Sorry for the late reply! I have a couple odds and ends of slate because my husband used to work for a copper & slate roofer. Maybe ask a local slate roofer if they have any cast off pieces? You might be able to buy it online too perhaps.
