my first tortoise

what is the best substrate for a Russian tortoise? I am putting together an enclosure. I haven't bought the tortoise yet.

That's crazy! I am originally from Michigan. I was a snowbird starting in 2005 and fulltime in Florida since 2016. I live by the Bayside high school off of Degroodt.
