Ornates can be aggressive at times. Keep an eye on them so no one gets hurt!

? How does she happen on other turtles to bite on?

I would separate them if she is trying to bite the room mates head---the recipient of the aggression can get injured for sure....

To be honest in the 12 years i've had hundreds of these guys....if you dont have a lot of room, at least a 6ft by 10ft enclosure for one pair....you are going to have a hard time. They get really territorial...so much so they'd attack my dogs from time to time...so room is everything

I think I read that you have 5 boxies.

Are they all housed together? Inside or outside? How big is the enclosure? Are these the ones you are trying to breed?

I think Austin gave you a good tip. Big spaces. Ascott did too, separate them if they are having aggression in small spaces.
