My Box turtles

I fed them...pineapple, bananas, strawberries, grape tomatoes and mango...it's winter here so they are still inside..I put the food in for today and watched these 3...at first begging for the food...Ginger fell...and it became a shoving match in the food dish and I just thought it was funny...

I just love box turtles! So full of personality.

I so agree, I really enjoy them...here's 2 more... an ornate and a 3-toed...pushing and shoving...and my very first box turtle, a blind T. ornata ornata, named Bright Eyes...she bites hard, but that's another story...Bright Eyes headed straight for the pineapple and started foaming thru her nose, but that didn't stop her. Guess ya can't see the foam from the pictures...

...she ate it all...
foam is gone now...she's fine as wine...
