My baby tortoise sleeps standing upright

Does he have a hiding place? Baby tortoises are prey and like to stay hidden most of the time. It looks like he's trying to get under the plastic to get out of sight. A few plastic plants throughout the enclosure and a couple of wooden branches to hide under might make him feel safer.

Also, when they have pnuemonia and have trouble breathing, it fells more comfortable for them to be upright against the wall (probably not your baby's problem).

That’s because it has no hides, and it’s looking for a place to sleep and be secure. You need to get some hides ASAP.

I have tried with bridges, tunnel, shade but he just dodges them and sleeps right besides it or outside it but haven't tried Potted plants though. Will do that and get back to you
