My baby tortoise is the pickiest eater!

Hi everyone! I adopted a baby Russian Tortoise named Geoff this week. He is a little over two months old and has a great personality.

He is a super picky eater. He refuses to eat anything except endives & romaine lettuce.

He refuses to eat everything else. He has ignored his little piles of kale, spring mix, turnip greens, pellet food from the reptile store, etc. He also completely ignores any of his food with calcium powder on it.

Is there anything I can do to help give him a more balanced diet?

I have the exact same situation as you! My little tort doesnt eat anything else other than hibiscus.

However, I have gotten an advice from a reptile store owner to stop feeding your tort for half a day/ a day.

And then introduce him with the veggies you mentioned above. Hope it works!

No reason to skip. Put in a food processor and chop into very small pieces (dicing) and mix together. Introduce new food slowly Torts hate change.
