Jackson chowing down. I just brought Jackson and General in for the evening and put them in their enclosures. I usually give them Mazuri with something extra , today it is chopped up opuntia cactus . They expect this every day !

That's one beautiful Aldabra!!! How old is Jackson? I'm trying to compare him to my tortoise.

Thanks! he/ she is about 1 1/2 years old , almost 8lbs, growing very fast now ,@ 1lb per month

Wow, he's the fastest growing Aldabra I have ever seen. One of my Aldabra is the same age but 1kg lighter. What are you feeding it?

Jackson weighed 3490g today !
They eat bok choy, turnip greens, rose of Sharon leaves and blooms , mustard greens, opuntia cactus, plantain, thistle, dandelion, spring mix, clover, grass, orchard grass hay, and they love Mazuri with bell pepper chopped up in it. I also usually add something from kapadilo farms to the Mazuri, like echinacea, dandelion, etc.
