I thought always to give these guys as much space as possible, but actually (which is not new), they do better in an indoor enclosure. At least mine. They eat better and they are also more personal of course, than in a big outdoor pen. 6x2

what you do when they are aestivating? environment that you provide etc?

they are hiding under fake fern on small bark with a water bowl and light (UVB) what they had when active, no heating light. I let them just decide when they want to come up. Some do wake them up, but so far they all came out of aestivation, when it was time. Spiders are very stress sensitive and loose water when they get woken up, so I stopped.
