The grapes hahaha. I wish I were more excited about the leaves. Unfortunately, my russians don't like muscadine leaves ?‍♂️

A few years ago I brought home (to Florida) a few cuttings from a Muscadine or Scuppernog vine from my property in South Carolina.
To my surprise, they grew and grew and produced fruit! But after a few months. My RF stopped eating the grapes or the leaves. I also notice that the grapes are much smaller than they grow back in Carolina and aren't as sweet.
I believe the south Florida alkaline soil or the 12 months of heat does something to make them less palatable.
Now they grow like a weed and the vines double in size every summer and attract flocks of wild parrots.
