We have a lot of muscadine vines, but I always find these berries alone not attached to anything, just on the ground. Are they muscadine and I'm just not easily finding the vine that is producing fruit?

Yes
Or Scuppernogs depending on where in the south you are. And the coloration.
They're my favorite.
I planted some here in Florida from some clippings I took from my property in South Carolina and they grew very well.
Maybe too well.
But my tortoises wouldn't eat the leaves and the grapes were all tiny and not worth eating.
There are MALE and FEMALE plants and they require cross polination.
Its possible that not all of your vines are producing.
The photo is of my gold ones.
I also have the more common Black (purple) Muscadines. Like in your photo.
From what I can tell, they are one in the same grape.
