Just bought me a dwarf mulberry! I will eat the fruit and my torts can eat some leaves as another item in my variety of foods I want to offer to my torts. :) it will be a while to make sure it is safe making a cutting from new growth asap.
I have 7 blueberry bushes 4 different varieties, can torts eat blueberry leaves. my plants have been grown organic so thinking if they are ok to feed I will have some leaves to offer with the new growth coming in late spring.

if it is a true dwarf tree it will have a top knot at the base of the trunk don't bury that or the tree will become full size.

it is a dwarf variety "issai" (morus albs) the weeping larger fruit variety. should I have gone with the (morus nigra) to propograte from cutting? so the true dwarf is a graft tree with a full size mulberry root?

dwarf trees are propagated from large trees they are grafted onto dwatf stock. you can't propagate dwarf plants from
seeds.
