moss

My outdoor enclosure is full of moss which is stifling the grass and my leopards are finding it difficult to find enough to eat. Can I use a moss killer if I do it in fenced off sections. I have tried raking it but it comes back even thicker.

Moss requires quite a bit of moisture to thrive. Dig a small trench through the thickest part of the moss towards the edge of the yard. This will allow the excess water to drain away. No moisture and lots of sun will kill that moss. (Don't use poison)

Unfortunately i am unable to get lots of sun in this area of the pen as my very kind neighbour has erected a 6 ft fence which means it is in shade for a large part of the day, it is also already on a slope so water drains from it.
