I have been thinking and I do not recall ever having one so small compared to normal. Can it even be fertile based on how eggs are developed? Interesting!

I thought it was a baby margie from the title. How cute though. I had that happen with one of my Leopard tortoises and the egg was not fertile, but you never know. Yes, please keep us informed.

Thanks, all. I don't know how it could be fertile, or hatch at that size, but you never know. The eggs came from my breeder female Marginated tortoise. She usually lays 4 clutches a year. This group is the second clutch.
