Almost 10 months old and weighs 174g!
Is this a good weight for his age? He has a proper setup and eats a variety of weeds/store bough greens and @Kapidolo Farms

There are these simple math things, measure length and weight and get an idea for body condition based on weight and size.

As for speed of growth, that is difficult to discern, hopefully you'll get responses from other folks with this species. Many people do keep records but seem shy to share them. I don't know why.

They all grow at different rates, so I don’t think anyone can definitively say that size and weight is good or bad for his age. To me it seems reasonable. My Eastern Hermann’s was at the 170 gram mark at around 14 months old. He was the runt of his clutch mates, I am told. He was slow to start growing, but once he did...there was no stopping him! lol

Thanks! I’m on a few tortoise pages and everyone is saying how much smaller their babies are... I’m over here like damn, my boy is chunky! Lol

My scale was broken when I got him but I did weight him at the 3-4 month mark and his weight is steady so I’m not worried just curious if others have chunks like I do
