Hi I'm Lianna and my 8 month old sulcata spike and I live on cape cod Massachusetts. He's the love of my life. I also have two obese dogs, a large rabbit, two African dwarf frogs, and some snails.

You should keep your tort away from your dogs. Even the friendliest can decide that a tort makes an interesting chew toy - there are too many TFO threads on here about it.

Make sure your tort's enclosure is big enough and secure so the dog can't get to it.
