Meet my Mookie-Boo!

Hey yall!
I want to introduce my Mookie-Boo to everyone! He's (or she.. I just feel like its a male! ) of the Ibera sub-species... & I've had him since the 2nd of July. In new to owning a tortoise, but wanted one for over 20yrs... & found out in may that they could be shipped here... Turtle/tortoise sale is illegal here.. but shipping to here isn't......? Go figure! Anyway.. I researched the Greeks since may, & saved my birthday money up & for my Mookie-Boo! he has really come out of his shell, so to speak... since his arrival. & loves to sit in my hand or lap, & have me finger feed him. he's spoiled already! Ehe! I love him to bits! Here's a few piccies of my baby!

Thanks, thanks. he's my baby. we took new pictures tonight & I got one of him yawning! =O I'm so tickled! He was just put to bed about 30mins ago.
Now its time to get the beardies sleep. they get cuddled to sleep in baby Blankies. ;D

Squirtle is a yearling. She's small because she brumated in the winter. =) How is Mookie doing? he/she adapting well?

The Mook-Mook seems to be adjusting well. he's gotten the hand of the daily pattern, & loves his baths. just can't get him to eat his tortie chow! He wants only the fresh greens... But, has a healthy appetite & I can see where he's grown some already. he seems to like out tv time each night, too. goes to sleep on me every night. lol. He's been so fun to take care of & watch him develop! ^.^ Squirtle might have to become his middle name, as I get peed on a lot at night.. lol!

Lol. iD be happy to make Squirtle one! send me a message with the details.. measure the shell with string around the thickest part of the shell, if Squirtle was standing, where the waist would be... Then measure around the shell... The area all the way round where the head/tail/legs stick out... Hahaha. I suck with proper math terms... Lol. One is diameter & one circumference.. but I can't remember which is which. Never could in school. Haha. Make the string meet on each measurement. Measuring in cm would be good. & what color(s) you'd like. I think they would work good for spotting torties in the yard & such. send me a message.
