Hi all,

This is Blodwyn and we live in Edinburgh. She is a four month old spur thighed and I love her to bits. She loves eating and hates having baths.

She is my first tortoise and I am so thankful for all the great advice on this website. One thing that I have found really difficult to find out is how much weight she should be gaining a week?

dont get too attached to the she aspect lol, thought mine was a girl too until it was obvious she wasnt haha, impossible to tell so young with the naked eye.

Greetings. Don’t worry too much about the exact weight. They all grow & develop differently. Get a scale weigh once a week. You just want to keep all the conditions proper, food, heat, lighting. A nice steady growth over time.
