Is anybody working with this species ? If so can you share some insight into their care and personalities . A run down on your experience with this little mentioned species will be so welcome . Thank you

I work with this specie as well as with Cuora flavomarginata. I recently sent you my account and experience with the C. flavomargie specie as you may recall.

Swamps, bogs, and vernal pools
I keep both "japonica" species, from the Geoemyda and Mauremys Taxon.

Mauremys japonica might be the easiest turtle that I have ever kept. They stay rather small, can get cold, can eat anything, and generally don't get sick! I have 9 of them :)
