male or female?

Hey guys I need to know if my tortoise is a male or female because I was hoping to get a friend for him like next year. At first I thought he was a boy because his stomach part of the shell (forgot what's it called) was sucked in like a curve. So today when I was doing his weekly check up to see if there was any problem his stomach part of the shell did not look curved it looked like flat kinda but popping out a little. Does that mean he's a female?

Other details:
Short nails
Short and fat tail
Not very aggressive
Likes to pee and poo on me

Ok, Shawn...where's our picture? While the virtual picture was pretty good, we'll need an actual picture to go by. But I especially liked the last description...likes to poop and pee on me. That's definitely the kicker that tells us which sex it is!!

From that detailed description I would first say female, since it has a short fat tail

But since it's not very agressive and also have short finger nails, that rules out the female

The last bit sounds more like a pigeon or a seagull to me ?
