    Short update:
Again new food: GOLLIWOOG ( a feeding plant for birds, torts and guinea pigs )
Ma, curious as ever taste the new food immediately.
Mo is not sure if he wants to eat new food or not and decided to eat the well known food.
    Silly torts !!!!!

Hello Debora. Glad to see you here. I hope you feel better soon.
For all I have to explain that Debora is the official aunt of Ma & Mo.
    Why ?
Because it was Debora who gave me the adress of the German seller.:)

I have fixed the problem with temperatur and humidity in the enclosure of Ma & Mo .

Temperature is at 80,6 in their hide and at night. Basking spot around 98,6 F.

Humidity is very high, never less than 80 %. Mostly 90 %.

To keep the humidity high I have a not molding soil that I keep wet and on the top the orchid bark. So I can keep the humidity easily high but the tortoises make no mess.

At night Ma & Mo dig theirselves in the moist soil in their hide. Mo is often completely digged in the soil. Ma less. Different behavior too.
    Funny torts !

When you manage to keep this conditions with very high humidity for the first years, this so far perfectly grown babies will continue to grow perfectly smooth. Most important is the humid start in life, later years are not so important.
    Congratulations!!
