Hi everyone,

I am sad to say I'm looking for a good home for my red foot tortoise. Her name is bubbles and she's a really good tortoise but I can't give her the life she deserves. Please PM me for photos or any other questions. I don't have experience with shipping a tortoise so the idea makes me a little uncomfortable but will ship if needed. Located in Vancouver, WA

You shouldn't need to ship.
Redfoot are very popular and sought after.
Just make sure you do some background research on anyone wanting to take him/her.
Make sure it's someone with lots of experience and the required enclosure.
Too many people see a discounted tortoise and grab it on a whim.
As you know. This is a moderately advanced animal to keep.

If still available, we'd love to have her. We just started our search for a redfoot tortoise and would be able to provide a good home. We are located just north of Seattle.

I don't ever pay to rescue tortoises
Huh?
Why?
Because she wants to sell this tortoise and I don't pay to rescue tortoises. I'm thinkin, my friends who suggested I help the Redfoot because I was so close, didn't understand how I operate... or that the tort was for sale not adoption

I always suggest that the person charges an adoption "fee".
If only up front.
I find that it keeps a lot of THE TROLLS from responding.
